Filming - Day 1

For the first few days of filming, we went up to the school's drama studio to start filming the interrogation scene between Dawson and the unknown suspect and to make sure we would have the right lighting for the scene and that we could sort out any kinks that would have appeared during the filming

Story Blurb and Title

Blurb
Three Locations, Three Methods, Three Victims. Dawson Dunn, a retired police officer and now a private detective struggles as he has a case that could make or break his profession, and possibly his mental health.

Lewis Hodson - Detective Dawson Dunn, the main character.

Jake Jackson - The Unknown Suspect (Only his silhouette will be seen)

Ella Kirk - Samantha Scarlet, the main victim in the recent murder

Jamie Kirman and Myself - Posing as the two other murder victims during the flashback scenes


Camera & Lighting

I am in charge of camera and lighting because I am the most experienced with cameras and have some knowledge on getting good lighting positions.

Director & Sound

Jamie Kirman is in charge of directing the entire film opening and editing sound. He will  be deciding all the best ways for the scenes to be shot and how the actors should play through each scene. He will also be helping me by holding up the boom mic as I'm recording each scene which will give me some more space to work with the camera

Panels 1&2:

The first panel shows Dawson looking at the suspect board again as the camera zooms out from showing the opening titles before switching to Dawson walking through the woods looking for clues (which will be a tracking shot)

Panels 3&4:

Panel 3 will be the end of the flashback and will show Dawson standing outside an interrogation room. The fourth panel will show Dawson walking into the interrogation room, and slamming the door before walking over to the table

Panels 5&6:

Panel 5 will show the unknown suspect sitting at the other end of the desk, we will use specific lighting so that we cannot see the suspects face, more-so that all that is visible is a silhouette. The next panel will show Dawson throwing a file towards the suspect on the table which will then jump cut to Dawson sitting down at the table

Panels 7&8:

Panel 7 will show the suspect picking up the file and reading through it before quickly switching to the next panel which will be a close-up of Dawson's face with a serious expression before fading out, finishing the film opening
