Who am I in a group with?

For my Film Opening, I am working in a group consisting of Myself, Lewis Hodson, and Jamie Kirman. Our choice of Genre for our film opening is 'Film Noir' Which in it's description is:

"Film Noir is a film genre sharing it setting with a gangster film, police procedural, gothic romance, and social problem films, with the typical protagonist being - within a Noir fiction - either a victim, a suspect, or a perpetrator, dealing with the legal, political or other system that might be corrupt; the stories written by hardboiled writers in the 1940's, describing the atmosphere during the Prohibition-period in America, were adapted for the screen by the Austro-German Company emigrants in America who fled the similarly corrupt system in Europe which allowed for the Nazi-movement to gain its power. The style in which we have chosen for our film, referring back to the quote above, is set in the modern day but has that 1940's twist to it, which will include old, jazz-style music which will give it the feeling of the Noir genre, which would be a linking convention to the film Opening.

The Idea we are going with for our film opening is a murder mystery, where we will start out with an interrogation scene with a detective and a suspect which will then lead into a flash-back of just after when a Murder had been committed. as if the film will start at the end and work its way back which, after the interrogation scene, will answer any forms of enigma that might have arisen in the audience
